Events moved quickly following Thursday’s scouting report (7.10.25), with new information from the CropVoice network providing a clear indication of infection in Yankton County, SD, and the northern edge of Cedar County in NE.

A Disease Alert was issued for Yankton County and the northern edge of Cedar County in NE, Friday at 2 PM CT. This alert was triggered by InnerPlant’s InnerSoy plant sensors (shown indicating infection in the GIF above) and verified by our team of scientists and in-field agronomists.

In addition, based on our weather models, all row spacings have now reached the white mold high-risk category for this region. This high-risk timing coincides with most plants being at the R2 stage (flowering and flowering senescence) when infection can take hold.

There is currently no indication of infection in the CropVoice network outside of Yankton and northern Cedar counties, and we will continue to monitor plots daily and conduct regular tissue sampling and will send a Disease Alert if any of your fields are at risk.

Across non-alerted areas, models continue to forecast high white mold risk over the next week for all irrigated 15” rows. Looking at the forcast for irrigated beans with 30” row spacing, moderate and high risk conditions continuing to inch over from the east, up the Missouri River bottoms with most of the area still continuing to be in the low risk category.
